Email (Outlook Live)

Microsoft Outlook Live gives students an email service that they can access anywhere and anytime. Each user will get a mailbox with a 10GB quota and the ability to send attachments of up to 20MB.

College address book will be available so they can easily email students and staff. The user will be able to add your own contacts in your private address book.

Users can

• set up appointments, reminders and their own timetable in the calendar,
• create a list of tasks that you need to complete
• set alarms so that they will not miss important events.

If the student already has another email address there is a subscription facility to enable them to access to all of their different email accounts in one place.

Users have the ability to access Live@edu in a number of different ways including Outlook, various web browsers (including Firefox, Chrome and Safari) as well as via mobile devices such as iPhones.
